The Rock Star and the Lifeguard (Short Story)

The Rock Star and the Lifeguard is my favorite short story – I originally wrote it for Rolling Stone Magazine. I can see the characters so clearly. Tony, the boy from the city with no aspirations, but a body to die for. And my little girl lost, Goldie the rock star, a lost soul surrounded by gofers and people making money off her. She yearns for more – but she doesn't know what.

Please enjoy... Jackie

  1. An enjoyable read that whets the appetite for more! They say opposites attract, so Goldie and Tony are perfect for one another. And with Goldie as his muse, Tony could become the new Harold Robbins. Maybe even the new Jackie Collins, but nobody will ever match her!

With over 500 million copies of her books sold in more than 40 countries, and with some thirty New York Times bestsellers to her credit, Jackie Collins is one of the world’s top-selling novelists. She is known for giving her readers an unrivaled insiders knowledge of Hollywood and the glamorous lives and loves of the rich, famous, and infamous! “I write about real people in disguise,” she says. “If anything, my characters are toned down — the truth is much more bizarre.”
