Synopsis of Married Lovers

Three high-powered Hollywood couples, two hot affairs, one underage Russian ex-hooker, a passionate murder—and the players’ lives are changed forever.

Cameron Paradise, a stunningly beautiful twenty-four-year-old personal trainer, flees her abusive boyfriend in Australia and ends up in L.A.

Cameron soon gets a job at a private fitness club where she encounters the city’s most important players. She has plans to open her own studio, and while every man she meets comes on to her, she is focused on working hard and saving money to achieve her goal.

Until she meets Ryan Richards, that is…

An extremely successful independent movie producer, he’s married to overly privileged Mandy Richards, the daughter of Hamilton J. Heckerling, a Hollywood power-player son-of-a-bitch mogul.

Ryan has never cheated on his demanding Hollywood Princess wife, but when he meets Cameron, all bets are off—even if she’s seeing his best friend Don Verona, the devastatingly attractive talk-show host and legendary player.

What happens when lust and desire collide with marriage and power? Married Lovers.

  1. There is a subtle shift of style in ‘Married Lovers’ compared to Collins’ latest work. In this, her soon to be 26th bestseller, Jackie Collins weaves a tale of murder, sex and decadence akin to her 1980’s zenith ‘Hollywood Wives’ that is absolutely terrific. Ever the raunchy moralist Collins goes for the jugular of Hollywood’s baddest and boldest. An absolute smash, like a great affair ‘Married Lovers’ by Jackie Collins will leave you wanting more!

This was nice Novel to read but the ending was really sad. She was a very powerful & brave Woman. It’s so sad that she got shot. The Trainer is good too Cameron Paradise. You Rock girl.

Just finished reading Married Lovers. I read it in a day. I could not put it down. I thought it was a stomping good read. Absolutely. Jackie at her best. And I have Don on my mind. He is the kinda guy I want to get together with. He’s great. One of Jackie’s best characters. I hope we will see him again. As for Mary Ellen. I think she is based on Jennifer Anniston. Who is a nice enough girl but she is no sex bomb. She’s not sexy at all. There is nothing sexy about her. Nothing at all.

I preferred it to Poor Little Bitch Girl. Sorry Jackie.

I couldn’t believe that Cole and Natalie were back. It was great to read about them and see how far they have come. I really liked Cameron.

I thought the ending was just right. You just knew from the start that Anya would eventually suffer from an untimely death. That was her lot. Call me crazy but I thought that she did what she did to make amends to Ryan. It was a gesture. Maybe I am wrong there.

Married Lovers has left me wanting more, more. It is one of your best Jackie. Please, please please bring Don, Cameron, Natalie , Cole, and Amanda, Phil and Lucy.

Victoria, I totally agree that Anya repeated the scene at Don’s to make amends with Ryan as well and to in some way prove his innocence in the alleged affair.

      But, who’s Amanda?

I’m a new comer to the Jackie Collins’ novels. I purchased Married Lovers a while back, but just got around to reading it. I too like so many others did not want to put the book down. I would love to see more on Ryan and Cameron. I fell in love with Ryan’s character; I loved the friendship that the guys shared. I am definitely on board with Jackie Collins from this point. I can’t wait to read the next one.

NIce book and it took me 3 days to read it. I am looking forward to know what happened to these characters. It would be nice to put Mandy and his father to shame. Let us explore the Cameron and Ryan simple life style, maybe we can get some wisdom from it.

About Jackie

Jackie CollinsThere have been many imitators, but only Jackie Collins can tell you what really goes on in the fastest lane of all.

From Beverly Hills bedrooms to a raunchy prowl along the streets of Hollywood; from glittering rock parties and concerts to stretch limos and the mansions of the power brokers — Jackie Collins chronicles the real truth from the inside looking out.

Jackie Collins has been called a “raunchy moralist” by the late director Louis Malle and “Hollywood’s own Marcel Proust” by Vanity Fair magazine. With over 500 million copies of her books sold in more than 40 countries, and with some thirty New York Times bestsellers to her credit, Jackie Collins is one of the world’s top-selling novelists. She is known for giving her readers an unrivaled insiders knowledge of Hollywood and the glamorous lives and loves of the rich, famous, and infamous! “I write about real people in disguise,” she says. “If anything, my characters are toned down — the truth is much more bizarre.”
